My name is Daveanna, formerly known to many by my crazy looks, wild style, and drastic changes. I am now trying something new on for size, modesty; I´m trying to be confident, but not overstepping my bounds. I have done many things in my past that were crazy, and it´s a miracle that I turned out as decent as I am. All that aside, I love art, in any form, because for those who created it, it was an expression of their passion. Passion is what is missing most in this world, and for those who take the time to realize this, should be given a round of applause. I cannot say that I have found my true passion yet, though I feel I am close to getting there. I believe it lies with animals, to be honest, despite my love for art. I have been surrounded by them all my life, and I would love nothing more than to make my living helping them.

A few other things that I enjoy are playing video games, drawing, and travelling.
I have always loved playing Final Fantasy, ever since my cousin introduced me to Final Fantasy 7, back when I was only 8 years old. I collect action figures from the series, books, and pretty much anything that has to deal with the franchise. Pokemon is another classic game for me, playing that since its release as well. I am currently playing Pokemon Diamond, and it´s much more difficult to "Catch em´ all" when there are nearly 500 of them! I also enjoy many other titles, such as: Animal Crossing, Burnout, Cooking Mama, Little Big Planet, Mario games (any of them), Metal Gear, and Resident Evil.
Drawing is something that I´ve always been interested in, ever since my early days in elementary school. Even though I haven´t been drawing anything lately, I think of it constantly. I find that my style leans more towards the realistic things, such as objects and portraits, because I cannot make my own ideas form without feeling like I stole the images from someone else. I really need to set more time aside to fill out a sketchbook. I am currently trying to make a Spanish phrase book, complete with pictures and everything. If I ever finish it, I will let everyone know.
My third love is travelling. I haven´t been to nearly all the places I wish to visit, but I´m making my way there. I have been to many of the states, including: Washington (where I live), Oregon, Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Missouri. I have also been to Mexico, and I am residing in Spain until the end of February 2009. I think the greatest thing about travelling, is that you get to step out of your comfort zone, and be placed into someone elses shoes. Spain has so many differences from the States, that I cannot even begin to count. I think in all, travelling is a very humbling experience.

I don´t have too many goals at this point in time, besides try to live in the moment. I think the main thing I am reaching for right now, is going to happen when I come home from Spain. I am going to get my diploma (which I was cheated out of) then apply for Highline Community College. If everything falls into place, I should hopefully be attending next year. Depending on the requirements, I will be getting biology, algebra, chemistry, and english credits. Then afterwards, I will be applying for the Veterinary Technician program at Pierce College at Fort Steilacoom. Being a veterinary technician doesn´t bring in the most money, but Harvey McKay once said, that "When you love what you do you’ll never have to work a day in your life." And that is what I hope for.
